Cleaning Cake Pop Maker

In making savory appetizers I found that, yes, it is non stick but sometimes leaves a crusty residue behind in the wells. Simply add about 1/2 tsp of water to each of the wells in a preheated machine and close lid for about 15-30 seconds. The water boils and steams each of the wells. Heads up, it does bubble out onto the counter a bit. Lift lid and let cool to warm and dump out any excess water and wipe with a damp cloth. All comes off with ease.

  1. The non- stick layer start getting sticky now, what can I do? Even I wipe the oil before I bake still getting sticky and hard to clean the mess

  2. I am definitely going to try this. Also when you are baking your pops, does heat tend to come out from the top? I feel like I’m burning them.

  3. Thanks for this. I will definitely try. Also, when you are baking your pops, does your maker tend to smoke up from the top? Is that normal?
