I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2011. We use it so often. We love it. Made strawberry whoopie pies for a fundraising benefit,people loved them. We have made so many Red velvet ones people keep aking for them to be made. New Years eve party we made so many chocolate with marshmallow filling,and again red velvet cream cheese filling.cheerleading team ask me to make them all the time. Nope
I tried and tried this whoopie pie maker and just is a disappointment. I was so excited and then so upset. This maker is way too hot! Followed directions exactly and every time I did it, the bottoms of my pies got brown and crusty. I timed it exactly, tried it for a shorter time, either browned or wasn't cooked through. The tops in the center got brown at times too. Not happy and will be returning it. I am going with the oven tin instead. | 5 out of 5 |

Whoopie pie maker
Absolutely love it. Got this item for X-mas. This item was one of only two things on my X-mas list. Must be very popular because it took my daughters two weeks to find one in stock. I will never go back to the old-fashioned way of making mini whoopie pies. I whipped up a batch this morning before going to work. No so excited anymore
First off my ready light never came on so I just started a batch anyway, I used a boxed batter and made it according to the instruction book, the batter was way to thick and the pan was way to hot. I thinned the batter and that helped with the shape but the bottoms were so brown and basically cooked before I got a chance to close the lid. I will try a few more batches and use the suggestions that the other posted but I'm not sure if I will keep it or take it back. :{
