Love it!
Love the cake pop maker! It Was very easy to use and I was happy with how consistent they came out every time. And they bake so fast! I liked it so much that my family just bought me the baby cake recipe book. (the must've liked them too!) I'm excited to try the recipes! I'm thinking about the cupcake maker too, looks convenient! :)

Happy
I bought this BECAUSE I didn't want the traditional cakepop mixed with icing/cream cheese "glue." I wanted something lighter and less overpoweringly sweet. The machine takes a little practice (just like using a waffle iron in my opinion - determining batter consistency, amount and timing). I NEVER go by the ready lights as things usually burn by the time they go off. Be willing to do a couple test batches, tweak recipes, and concede some operator error until you get it down. I have requests coming in after decorating 6 dozen and sharing pictures. Only flaw is that it comes with only one holding tray and that while the wells/stick holes are far enough apart before coating, once the pops are coated I cannot put 12 in there without them knocking into each other. Fixing this problem by purchasing a large, flat, styrofoam square that will accomodate 2 dozen at a time. :-)

Trial and error, but I'm gettin' there!
Trying to make the "perfect pop has been challenging...And I'm not talking here about decorating, thats the easy and fun part. I'm talkin' about keeping pops on a stick, making the "right" batter, having enough referg space to allow them to settle, keeping pops from touching each other and a few other challenges. The first time - 9 hrs trying (long story) and finally some finished product. Second batch, 2 hours and finished pops. I can't believe someone made 200 in an hour and a half. No way were they dipped and decorated, no way! I've been doing lots of reading, and have got some great pointers (thx all of U), now I'm ready 2 try again - someday! POP on everyone.

just new but like it
am learning a lot from all reviews - just got and tried - usual problems but by 3rd batch getting good - i have never eaten the so -called 'real' ones but they sound very disgusting to make and even worse to eat , extremely unhealthy - these are light and tasty little cake bites and from all i have read here lots of various yummy options to sample - thanks to all of you for your ideas and tips
